Discounts through Scale
Did you know that you can’t even buy most Enterprise Security tools! One of the reasons the are often minimums when buying a tool. Those minimums often start at about 100 devices or users. We change that dynamic by bringing you in as part of our platform where we hold the required minimums for your tools.
Even if you were able to purchase the tool it would do you little good. The reality is that the management platform to upkeep these tools are complex. You’re not a cyber security expert and as such would know what to do with the tools or how to respond if you had them. We take care of that for you.
Finally the important bit. Massive enterprise organizations see massive discounts when they purchase licensing. We are using that same model by pooling the license. As a result we are able to provide an enterprise service at an extremely reasonable price.
Simplicity
We don’t have many service offerings and we don’t deviate the configuration. We are hyper focused on one thing securing your business. We are not pulled in dozens of different directions with dozens or hundreds of different configurations. If there is a specific technical requirement for an organization we can make those changes. However, we configure the solutions to a best practice configuration which significantly reduces the risk of false positives. This makes operational overhead manageable enough that we can reduce the number of staff required to manage the operational overhead, all while providing excellent customer service.
We only support the solutions we sell. Other companies will say they can manage any solution they bring to you. At a base level this is true. However, because they have to pull intelligence from many source they have to move to more generic data and generic integrations. This limits the effectiveness of any one solution. The initial component of this is that Cisco Talos Intelligence is providing automated threat intelligence into all of our security tools. That means when there are new and emerging threats Talos sees them out in the wild and updates all of our tools to find them.
Additionally Cisco has many amazing automations that natively integrate within the platform. One specific example is if your system gets hacked it will become isolated. This triggers an effect in Duo to block login attempts from your account. That allows us to get ahead of bad actors leveraging your identity while a known breach has occurred.
We have our own custom automations that help us identify the diamonds from the chaff. There are many alerts that constantly trigger. We have to determine if those alerts are true positives, false positives, true negatives or false negatives. What that means is we use our tools to make sure we are focusing on the threats real in your environment.
